In February 2018 I was invited by Dmitry Vasyliev to play in Moscow. In those days Dima hosted me at his house, a small apartment on the outskirts of the city.
One evening, while he was preparing tea, Dmitry told me: "Massimo, you should record the sound of my teapot". And so I did, I pressed the REC button on my recorder and this is the recording; 12 minutes of slow growing intensity, which proceed inexorably towards a white noise climax and then go off in a metallic clang. I am convinced that this recording contains what Dmitry always loved in sound and music: power, intensity and raw noise.
